Careful that 'software' issue might be a hardware issue, either way you wasted your time and money.

I had tried working with the buyer on this situation. Offered them a partial refund as the item was damaged in transit and I would handle the insurance afterwards. Now however they decided to suddenly decline the partial refund as well as a request to revise this feedback as it was unjust. Even they deemed it so considering the item was damaged in transit and not due to anything on my part. Don't know why the sudden change of heart but that is the situation here at the moment.
