Reviews
" Charreada: Mexican Rodeo in Texas is a brief and entertaining introduction to a part of Texas culture that for too long has flown under the radar. And it is very much a part of Texas; one that should be celebrated for its significant contribution to American life."-- Journal of South Texas, "The photographs and collection of essays included in this brief book depict the elegance, rituals, and distinctiveness of a tradition that was the precursor to rodeo."-- Review of Texas Books
