Unmarked jewelry should be sold as unsigned. You shouldn't be allowed to sell as a Sherman (or to title it however you please ) when that brooch could have been made anywhere in the world. I bought this accidentally, the listing said Sherman and the piece is not signed and the seller could not have cared less for this breach of trust. He's making bank on buyers that are ignorant or who make mistakes like I did.
