Boffin Joseph Buchanan invents a weapon which will eliminate enemies without destroying the Earth. But it has side-effects, which Buchanan discovers when he's sucked back to 1831. He meets Dr Frankenstein, the monster and young Mary Godwin (soon to be Shelley). Retro gags and sci-fi horror from Roger Corman, who returned to directing after nearly 20 years.
