Ok so this is how it went. Due to personal circumstances I sadly missed the dispatch deadline (in all my years of ebaying this has never happened) and a case was opened by him immediately. I offered to send item asap to resolve the issue. Heard NOTHING until I chased it up again, and then received a really rude message from him. I simply don't want to deal with people like this - negative, nasty and rude, so I refunded him in full. My feedback from other buyers says it all.
