Camera was advertised as unused, proper working order. When arrived, the camera didn’t work, I brought it to repairman for repair, seller refused to cover the costs, bc he claimed, the camera worked at the time of his inspection. Poor communication and strange behavior for a professional seller

We sent a video showing that the item was not damaged and was working properly when it was shipped, and the buyer confirmed it. To prevent fraud, eBay’s policy states that buyers should consult with the seller before making any repairs. However, the buyer had the item repaired without consulting me and then sent me the bill. Considering the buyer's situation, I offered to cover the repair costs, but the buyer refused, saying “No, I don’t accept that. Keep your money.” Why did the buyer refuse?
