Found a live roach in the package, must have been hiding in the part.
Fortunately I managed to take it outside and kill it before it could get loose in my house!
Just the risk of buying used parts from appliances related to food, I guess.
Thankfully the roach hadn't damaged the part (motor) I needed off of this assembly.
