They told me they'd use plenty of bubble wrap......package came and the cast iron waffle iron was crammed into a box diagonally; it actually changed the shape of the box it was such a tight fit :/ The base of the iron was broken into 4 pieces, which basically makes this antique item useless, unless I can find a new base, which will be nearly impossible. Seller has yet to respond re; this issue.
