Unfortunately on examination it is not as suggested a Chelsea plate or antique. It looks like new, with no evidence of wear, no firing marks, and the drawn anchor mark is not identifiable as Chelsea at all. The seller however acknowledged her limited information about this piece in a very nice, honest communication. I would still recommend this seller very highly nonetheless.
