Packaging, however, probably needed to be better padded - USPS employs gorillas who go out of their way to fling boxes around. The upper corner was severely crushed (see pix). Happily, I'm an experienced metal worker and have a workshop I was able to undo most of the damage (see the last two pix), so no complaints - just warning about USPS incompetence.
