I've filled them with split firewood and very strong thanks. If anyone is interested the best way to use these is with an old bucket with the bucket base removed. Place the hollow bucket inside and at the bottom of the bag, fill the bucket and slide the bucket up as you fill it. This avoids logs getting snagged as you fill the bag.
