I also had to cut a hole for the coolant drain. They mention other 12" fans wont fit and I grabbed some cheap popular slim fans and the lower coolant hose is right where you would mount the fan. No problem I just cut the fan until the hose could pass by. Item was shipped with a single small wrap of bubble wrap in a huge box. $30 for shipping and they cant box it correctly? Not recommended.
