Once I was able to knock the old site out, this item fit nice and snug. I recommend holding down the trigger so the firing pin block remains in the up position and you can seat your adapter plate down in the right position. I didn’t do this the first time and the gun wouldn’t fire. I mounted a vortex venom and the gun fires flawlessly with its new red dot. Highly recommended
