Very bad. Unsafe in the condition it is sold, and a misleading total P&P price.
The seller does not use eBay’s global shipping and declares full sale value on the customs form. As a result, I got an additional customs charge of £94.91.
Most seriously, the hinge mechanism in unsafe: it’s a simple pin held in by two grub screws and as such is susceptible to fracture. Repair is not a simple exercise: the hole needs to be reamed in order to receive a replacement pin made by Brompton.
