I did receive a recall message from ebay regarding my purchase but theres no knowing from the description in the recall if it was for these exact steps. As I dont intend closing and opening them very often and im the only ones to use them I think ill be fine. The box they were in was absolutely falling off them when they were delivered abd im glad they were well wrapped and the fixing were taped in as they could easily have been lost. Fortunately no damage
