The lens, fitted with two end caps, was very well protected during transit, wrapped in bubble wrap in the inner and the in carefully fitted protective foam in the outer. The lens seems well made mechanically and the optics appear to be well made also. It is not being used for its intended purpose, rather reversed as a 8X macro lens. A inexpensive workable solution but not as good as a 4X PLAN objective, Thank you.
