Oak dowel cost £4.35 and I’m actually losing money on it if you take my time into consideration. It doesn’t matter how long the piece is you’re cutting it’s still the same process and time.The cost is £4.35 - eBay and advertising fees (33%) =£1.43 £4.35-£1.43=£2.92 -£1.55 postage= £1.37-5p for label, envelope printing ink, paper, electric.
=£1.32 It takes about 10 minutes to cut sand print labels and invoice and package up. Then time to answer messages. So thats £7.92 an hour. I don't think so!
