There's no damage to the Mother of Pearl, though ther e is a few very small manufacturing flaws such as uneven cuts & gaps, all of which are not noticeable from face on. The beautifully made brooch includes a opening at the mouth / tongue, marcasite eyes & scales, Mother of Pearl body & highly detailed engravings from head to tail. The back of the brooch is all solid silver with five re-enforced sections & a 4.2cm long silver pin. The pin is attached with a heavy-duty hinge & secured with a swing latch, both of which have no damage & are very strong. The hallmark is on the inside of the snakes head. Box in photos NOT included.”
