Seller notes: “This approximately 180 year old Willow Ware Food Warming Plate is in remarkably good antique ... “This approximately 180 year old Willow Ware Food Warming Plate is in remarkably good antique condition: the 10" dinner plate top (identical to John Meir's standard Willow dinner plates) has no edge chips or stains & only very slight crazing & almost no knife scrape marks; on the top face of the plate, there are two barely visible rim cracks, each approximately one inch, shown in the photos above from the underside where they are more prominent. The water spout projects about an inch out from the plate rim and has two surface cracks; there is no stopper. The bottom face and water cavity have no chips, cracks or stains and virtually no crazing. Approximately one inch from the spout underneath the rim, there is a projection with a hole so that the Plate could be hung up (to drain?); this feature is in mint condition.”
