It’s pretty much unmarked. They don’t come much better than this from 1981. The filter thread is perfect. The painted lettering is bright and completely intact. The aperture ring action is smooth and 'clicky'. The focus ring action is perfect; buttery smooth with zero play in the action. The bayonet mount is in as new condition. Optical: Exc++++There is some dirt on the extreme outside edge of the front element and a tiny few coating marks on the front and rear elements, but they are so fine and small that they are invisible unless one deploys a magnifying glass and LED light. There is a small amount of dust in this lens, although much less then would be expected in a lens of this age. The optics are otherwise flawless as the test images show. This lens produces punchy, dead sharp images from wide open down. There is no balsam separation.. cont'd below...”
