Let's just say it took longer to catch her than it did to put the Apron / Saddle on her. She took maybe 5 minutes to wiggle it to her center and her wings folded right down (she stopped flapping them) and she went right back to eating and drinking & being a happy part of the flock. Been a happy hen ever since! If you have a hen getting her back plucked. I recommend this apron / saddle for them!
