The waffle iron is as described and in good shape. I have mixed feelings about the cord - it is the original Sunbeam cord with the Sunbeam name on the plug. Unfortunately, as with many old appliance plugs, it gets very hot and overheats quickly, so I may need to replace the cord. The waffle iron itself, though, is a good one.
