This platter has arrived safely despite my expectation it would be broken because it was packed in so much tape. Bubblewrap cushions, tape does not. It transfers any transportation shocks directly to the porcelain, and this package took some shocks. Nonetheless, the platter arrived safely and is a beautiful addition to my Pickard collection. Thanks.
