Seller notes: “This is an a very rare antique vintage "PYRENE SODA ACID" Chromed Copper Brass Fire Extinguisher, ... “This is an a very rare antique vintage "PYRENE SODA ACID" Chromed Copper Brass Fire Extinguisher, that is well over 100 years old. It was used to fight fires and is in overall great condition. This is not a repop piece but has been cleaned, polished and the enamel paint restored so that it shines beautifully. There are some minor blemishes but overall, it is in great condition, it shines like a mirror, the cap has been restored beautifully, and the brass connectors with the original hose are also present, as well as polished. This antique was chromed at some time. There are a few spots where the chrome has worn thin, and you can see the copper underneath. I spent a ton of time cleaning, polishing and restoring the paint to this beautiful antique. The very famous PYRENE MANUFACTURING COMPANY manufactured this antique out of NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, U.S.A. DO NOT MISS OUT!”
