Product Information

It's 1946: World War II is over, and Dr. John Finlay (David Rintoul) has finished his stint in the Royal Army Medical Corps. Upon his return to civilian life in the small Scottish town of Tannochbrae, Dr. Finlay finds himself treating the hearts of the citizens as well as their physical ailments, while dealing with the senseless bloodshed of what he witnessed in the war. Originally broadcast on BBC's MASTERPIECE THEATRE and based on the writings of author A.J. Cronin, this collection presents seven episodes of the beloved series.
