The pieces are good looking and well cut. The length is not a full circle, you have to be careful to leave the missing part under the fretboard. Note the product is a laminate. I easily sanded a way the good looking top layer revealing a b quality shell. If you keep this in mind this is a good product for the price. 3 stars because of the laminate not mentioned in description

Seems that these are actually real solid abalone, I was just unlucky that I sanded off a bit too much and exposed not so shiny occasion on pearl.
