Seller notes: “The cap is made of wool with the original satin hat tally in place that reads U. S. Navy. The ... “The cap is made of wool with the original satin hat tally in place that reads U. S. Navy. The original leather sweatband is in place as well. The cap measures app. 21.75" in inside circumference at the sweatband which equals a hat size of 7 to 7 1/8. The condition is excellent with only minimal wear to the wool and no mothing. The gold lettering on the tally is also in excellent with only minor wear. The leather sweatband is solid and supple but is a little soiled. Overall the cap displays beautifully and will make an excellent addition to your collection or wardrobe.”
