I am disappointed with the new short cut method of butt joining belt end (joined by an extremely narrow tape)which is very insubstantial compare to the old method. The old method feathered and over lapped the edges.
The material itself is good.
Further, allowing the joint to be at the end (right on the bend) during posting tends to weaken the joint.
Consequently, I have serious concerns about longevity of belt joint
