Hi, I would be very surprised if this system would reduce nitrates.This particular system is designed to remove chlorine and reduce level of calcium and magnesium.It is scientificality impossible for any of those 3 cartridges to cause increase level of nitrates in water. We are always happy to answer customer's question before and after the purchase. This comment does not seem fair, we have been selling our products for year and we are confident that they can be used for drinking water.
