The instructions will be helpful for when I do my Thorens but as this is a general turntable bearing oil, I had to find my own way with my DJ decks. It's greatly reduced friction so that's great. I can't say it's made a noticeable difference to sound quality but the bearings do have some wear and I'm not overly concerned for this setup. The Thorens will be a better test for sound quality improvement. The oil needed replacing on my DJ decks and this kit made that possible. Overall, I'm happy.
