very communicative seller! we had trouble getting the part to work (thankfully it did) and Al was very patient and accommodating whilst we fumbled through some trouble shooting. it sounds like he sources parts from someone else who had disconnected the wires inside the unit. unit had to be taken apart and the wires reconnected before it was usable (just a heads up to anyone else buying boat electronics- they may not be "plug and play" ready) but otherwise no complaints. would buy from him again!
