This smooth plane arrived very quickly, in excellent condition & razor sharp. I didn’t even have to hone it… I literally removed it from the packaging, set it on a piece of hard maple and easily produced whispery thin shavings, leaving behind a buttery smooth, finish ready surface. I own about 30 various planes of which I routinely use 4. This one has already taken its rightful spot in the lineup. Sweet!
