A lovely item! Was thinking of having to re-blue it but no need, almost like new. Only thing I didn't expect was the 'fun' I had fitting it onto the 1944 No.4 Mk1! The old Mk2 battle sight came off quick enough but getting the tension spring platform to stay down long enough to get the pivot screw through the new sight (and the washer) and then through the other side of the receiver body was 'interesting'! All done now though and the old girl looks great with a 'proper' rear sight at last!
