It arrived very well packed with a wall of corrugated cardboard inside the box, packing paper, the base in a plastic bag, and the planets in styrofoam. Ryan really did a good job. And the orrery itself is spectacular. I appreciate the simple tones and materials. I looks period. Very elegant. And the gears really work! If anyone is wondering whether they should get one, I give my highest endorsement. And arrived fairly fast.
