It virtually eliminates ghosting and flares, and it allows for crystal clear images. The lens assembly is constructed of 18 lenses in 13 groups. There are several types of glass used for the lenses to maximize the quality of the image. Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) and Ultra Extra-Low Dispersion (UED) glass helps to decrease chromatic aberration and make the picture sharper. Ultra-High Refractive (UHR) glass gives heightened descriptive performance across the full expanse of the image. Taken as a complete system, these specialty glasses work together to give you a high-quality photo with stunning contrast and resolution.If you enjoy taking a variety of photographs from close-ups to long-range shots, the autofocus capabilities of this Panasonic lens will appeal to you.
