The plane arrived quickly and, with one exception, it is in great shape. However because of the condition of the blade (iron), it is currently unusable. The blade is extremely dull but more importantly cutting edge itself is slanted very far from square (see photo). As I don't have a grinder, I will have to spend a very long time sharpening the blade to get it in usable shape.
