I communicated consistently when the items were lost, messaging the buyer on five separate days throughout the eight-day process. I refunded him before the situation escalated, even though he expected the refund before Evri completed their investigation and deemed the items lost. This process could take 7 to 14 days, which I informed the buyer of. Fortunately, it didn't take that long, and I issued the refund as soon as Evri confirmed the items were lost.
