Beautiful high quality blanket but arrived with a strong bad odor. I understand it might have been thrifted and resold or sitting in an attic somewhere but I can’t fathom the idea of selling an item without washing it first. I understand it’s a handmade delicate piece but after putting it in delicate cycle/cool water the bad scent came out within one wash and normal detergent.

Hi there. I just wanted to apologize for this. The blanket had been in storage for quite some time. I was hesitant to wash it for fear of damaging it, but I should have done so prior to sending it to you. Again, so sorry for the smell. In future, I will launder my blankets prior to sending them out. Thank you.
