This ElectroVoice subwoofer includes a 10-inch speaker in a tuned enclosure that weighs 15.5 lbs and measures 12.6 x 11.9 x 10 inches. It's a small package of a ceiling subwoofer that can handle 150-watt of continuous power, 800-watt peak, with a frequency response between 45 and 180 Hz. A switch on this ElectroVoice subwoofer's front baffle can either bypass the built-in transformer and set impedance to 8 ohms or configure the ceiling subwoofer's transformer to deliver 15, 30, or 60-watts over either 70 or 100 volts, 7.5-watts over 70 volts. Then, the ElectroVoice EVID C10.1 adds the 4-point mounting system complete with mounting support ring and tile rails that facilitates a quick installation without additional accessories. All in all, the combination of musicality and ease of installation and setup makes the ElectroVoice EVID C10.1 worth considering for audio systems on the ceilings of homes, offices, and public spaces.
