    The device was listed as mint condition, however, the ad didn’t mention that the model can no longer connect to the internet via wifi so it cannot be registered to an Amazon account through the device. It also can’t be registered to my Amazon account through customer service as the device was never de-registered from its original account. I was advised by Amazon’s customer support that this is typical of devices sold by someone other than the device’s owner (i.e. stolen).

    Exactly as described - clean and well packaged. The battery was even charged! And thanks to the Calibre Ebook manager, I now have loaded a lot of the Baen Free Library books that I have collected. Note that my new Kindle Paper White will not display those books! The slightly delayed receipt is in NO way the seller's fault - poor old Canada Post is still playing catch-up from the strike backlog.
