        An accurate description of the condition of the scope would have been appropriate: it has clearly been handled carelessly. The glass is covered with spots indicated lack of care, there is extensive damage to the eyepiece bell, and the rings were overtightened. This scope may well need to be returned to the manufacturer for inspection in view of these points. Disappointing.
