The Cisco Model DPC3825 8x4 DOCSIS 3.0 Wireless Residential Gateway (DPC3825) is a high-performance home network solution. This all-in-one device combines the functionality of a server, cable modem and wireless access point. Having this combined functionality in one device simplifies usability and saves on space, making it ideal for both the home and small office. The Cisco Model DPC3825 incorporates eight bonded downstream channels along with four bonded upstream channels, making for a faster Internet connection. These bonded channels can deliver downstream data rates in excess of 340 Mbps and upstream speeds higher than 120 Mbps. Compared with a single channel DOCSIS 2.0 cable modem, the Cisco Model DPC3825 would typically be capable of download speeds that are eight times faster. All this utility makes for a great home or small business networking solution.
