I had deep scratches were someone sanded off letters that were written with a paint marker. I sanded the areas with 1000 grit paper, then 2000 then 3000. The sandpaper removes the scratches but leaves the dull milky look. Then I used the polish to remove the milky look. Users must remember that this is a polish and it designed to shine up the glass. It does take a while and a few applications of the product. Worked great for me. Save thousneds on repairs of an old mercedes.
