Arrived 7 October, well ahead of ETA (11th). Pliers ideal, beautiful design and balance. Come with black plastic end protectors, and I already have a spare set. Pliers have central spring release, can be deactivated by tying/taping blue arms together to clamp jaws tight. Previously, had used electrician's pliers with rag, attempting softening of grip. Not wonderful as really needed clamp which clamps shut, but their jaws typically in plastic hence no good on metal frames!
