The leather itself is lovely and soft but the thickness of the collar is very stiff suitable for a large + dog. For instance if you hold the collar by the buckle end and point the other end upright it will stand stiffly upright instead of falling/flopping over. This has the effect of making it somewhat harsh on medium to smaller dogs. Shame as the colour was lovely too.
