This pen that I received is exactly as vendor describes. The flex requires some pressure, but the effect is great. Normal writing with it is smooth and easy to leave a nice fine line of ink. The odour dissipated quickly and now I find it unnoticeable. Good looking pen, too. I did need to smear a little silicone grease on the the converter to seal a small leak. Now it works great.
