This item was delivered promptly but must have been returned before with a small amount of thread damage on the pipe union thread. This I cleaned up with a suitable thread tap but my cars rectangular pipe union wouldn't seal because of a slightly prominent ridge surrounding the circular machined surface. I contacted the supplier with regards to swapping the item but in the meantime found a slightly thicker copper washer which solved the problem. In fairness this may have been a one off problem.
