The very heavy and large Neolithic plaque weighs 3.5 lbs. (1.61 kg) and measures about 6.58” (167mm) long x 3.70” (94mm) high x 2.72” (69mm) in width. It has been professionally cleaned to remove the heavy mineral and calcium deposits. This Neolithic Chinese statue that documents the temple sacrifices made for a fallen member of the royal family. It is made of pure, Nephrite Jade that has turned a fantastic shade dark brown with black highlights from the iron in the soil. No cracks, repairs, or restorations, just natural fissures in the jade. It has been professional cleaned to expose the tiny Chinese characters cut into the jade. A Museum Quality patina that is a slightly darker color that shown under the bright lights in the pictures!
