I`ve had similar before and I use them as oven gloves-they are not plastic and do the job well,surprisingly! I wouldn`t use them to wash up,the knives can cut them! Durable and dish washer/washing machine safe used as I do. They do wash-up but I prefer other things for that job.Arrived on time though with rather a lot of plastic packaging which seemed unneccesary.

Clearly all silicone isn`t made equal. Unless these are plastic not silicone?These melt in oven heat. I was surprised... my other silicone `sponges` were sold as oven-heat capable are indeed they are! I expected them all to be! Not these! My positive view of them has decreased.If knives cut them and high heat melts they aren`t great for either use.
