Generally speaking it works, but it's not a great product. It was already dusty in the original packaging, is very prone to glare and reflections (despite supposedly being coated), gets soft with focal lengths longer than about 50mm, and the darkest setting seems more like ND64 (about 6 stops) than the advertised ND400. At least it turns smoothly and seems solidly built though.
